At the end of December 2008, the Investigative Department of the FSB of Russia for the Samara Region opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 (participation in the activities of an extremist organization) against National Bolshevik Roman Mishurov.
Mishurov is accused of trying to recruit a certain Vyacheslav Paryaev into the NBP party in October 2008 and for this purpose gave him several printed publications: the Trudodni newspaper of October 2007, the brochure To My Supporters (a collection of articles by Eduard Limonov with site Grani.Ru) and the book "Control Shot" by Limonov. Paryaev took the received books to the FSB, as a result of which a case was initiated.
The National Bolsheviks claim that Paraev's actions described above were a provocation. According to them, Paryaev wanted to join the NBP, but he was told that there was no such possibility, since the party does not exist, and one can only become a supporter of the Other Russia coalition.
In addition, none of the texts received by Paryaev is extremist material. Limonov's books are available for free sale, and the newspaper Trudodni, according to the National Bolsheviks, is officially registered.
Recall that the Samara prosecutor's office had previously closed access to the website of the National Bolsheviks.
