In Armavir, the court passed a verdict under Article 282

On January 14, 2009, a court in Armavir (Krasnodar Territory) found Andrey Mozzhegorov, sworn attorney of the Union of the Russian People, guilty in the case of distributing the extremist brochure of the monk Athanasius "Give us the Motherland, or the Station - Baku (without suitcases)".

Recall that Andrei Mozzhegorov, a lawyer ("attorney at law") of the Union of the Russian people A. Turik-M. Nazarov, was accused under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity). Ironically, A. Mozzhegorov is the author of the "Recommendations of the Movement "To Live Without Fear of the Jews!" on the Prevention and Protection of Russian Patriots from Criminal Prosecution (Articles 280,282, 282.1, 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation").

The court sentenced Mozzhegorov to four months in a colony-settlement.
