In December 2008 and January 2009, a group of young people in Ryazan carried out a series of attacks on foreign citizens, as a result of which one person was killed.
On December 5, 2008, neo-Nazis attacked a citizen of Uzbekistan on Sportivnaya Street, who received serious bodily injuries as a result.
On December 6, 2008, another citizen of Uzbekistan was killed on Polevaya Street, who received bodily injuries.
On December 27, 2008, a native of Uzbekistan was killed motivated by national hatred.
And on January 4, 2009, the same group killed a Chinese citizen on Firsov Street.
This became known from the news about the detention of suspects.
In early April 2009, the Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee under the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation for the Ryazan Region opened a criminal case under Part 1, Part 2 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of an extremist community).
In May 2010, the trial began in the case of the White Inquisition Team.
