The circulation of the recognized extremist book by V. Istarkhov “What is “Dead Water”?”

On January 27, it became known that the unsold part of the circulation of Vladimir Istarkhov's book "What is "Dead Water"?", recognized as extremist by the court of the Verkh-Isetsky district of the city of Yekaterinburg, was confiscated. The book was included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials in November 2008.

Recall that the linguistic examination showed that in the text of the book "words and statements are used that indicate the inferiority of persons of Jewish nationality and Christian denomination, that is, on the basis of national and religious affiliation."

In addition, the book contains "calls for inciting social, national and religious discord, as well as statements justifying restrictions on the rights of citizens on ethnic and religious grounds."
