The case against RONS activists was dropped

On February 6, 2009, the Ob City Court of the Novosibirsk region ceased criminal prosecution of two local residents for inciting national hatred due to the statute of limitations.

Recall that they tried to criminalize under part 1 of article 282 involve RONS activists Mikhail Kozhevnikov and Viktor Novikov, for distribution in August 2006 of xenophobic leaflets.

Their trial began in July 2007 and lasted a year and a half, until finally the case was dismissed.
