Act of vandalism in the Volgograd region

In the city of Kalach-on-Don, Volgograd region, about 30 Orthodox crosses were destroyed at the cemetery. The exact date of the incident has not been established.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (desecration of the bodies of the dead or destruction, damage or desecration of burial places, tomb structures or cemetery buildings intended for ceremonies in connection with the burial of the dead or their commemoration).
