"Traditional" religious organizations of Bashkiria and the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs agreed on cooperation

On March 17, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the leaders of "traditional" religious organizations in the region.

The agreement was signed by the head of the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major General of Militia Igor Aleshin, the chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims (TsDUM) of Russia, Talgat Tadzhuddin, the archbishop of Ufa and Sterlitamak Nikon (Vasyukov), the chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic, Nurmukhamet Nigmatullin, and the chief rabbi of Bashkortostan, Dan Krichevsky.

It is assumed that the parties will conduct joint activities in the field of youth education, as well as opposition to "totalitarian sects" and extremist organizations.
