In the Altai Territory, court decisions were made regarding the sale of books by V. Istarkhov in bookstores

The prosecutor's office of the Altai Territory revealed in two bookstores in Barnaul the sale of books included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials. We are talking about the books by V. Istarkhov "Blow of the Russian Gods" and "What is "Dead Water?"". Recall that "Strike of the Russian Gods" is listed in the FSEM, but the case on recognizing this publication as extremist was sent to court by the prosecutor's office of the Arkhangelsk region for consideration on the merits. Unsold part of the circulation of Vladimir Istarkhov's book "What is "Dead Water"?" was confiscated .

In this regard, the prosecutor of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Barnaul initiated administrative proceedings on administrative offenses under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (production and distribution of extremist materials).

The prosecutor's office of the Altai Territory organized an inspection of the fulfillment of the requirements of Article 13 of the Federal Law "On counteracting extremist activity", which prohibits the distribution of extremist materials.

The Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Barnaul held Top-Kniga LLC, a merchandiser of the Las-Knigas hypermarket, administratively liable. The punishment was imposed in the form of a fine in the amount of 2 thousand rubles. and confiscation of extremist materials. The store sold V. Istarkhov's book "Blow of the Russian Gods".

LLC "Biser" was also brought to administrative responsibility under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. In this case, the punishment was imposed in the form of a fine of 50 thousand rubles. in connection with the implementation of the book by V. Istarkhov "What is "Dead Water?".

The decisions of the court entered into force.
