Anti-Semitic textbook for students of the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

In March 2009, students of the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a new textbook by V.A. Drozhzhin “History of the Russian State and Law 1985-1991: a textbook” (St. Petersburg: St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. 2008. 76 p.) The book claims that “world Zionism” is to blame for all Russia’s troubles.

Quotes: "Trotsky was a direct resident of Zionist circles in Russia... He sought to lead the dictatorship of the proletariat... in order to have maximum opportunities to implement the guidelines of world Zionist circles." “The collapse of the USSR and the emergence of the CIS on its territory is deciphered among the people. Hitler’s Hope came true. What German fascism could not do, Zionism managed to accomplish.” “Speaking in the Israeli parliament (Knesset) in February 1992, Gorbachev-Garber said: “Everything I did with the Soviet Union, I did in the name of our God Moses.”

The annotation notes that “the textbook has been prepared in accordance with the curriculum for the discipline “History of the Russian State and Law”.” The reviewers were: A.A. Vikhrov, Doctor of Law, Professor (University of Engineering and Economics), and Yu.V Yachmenev, Doctor of Law (St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs). The circulation of the manual, printed in hardcover, is 100 copies.
