In mid-April 2009, in Volgograd, in the Dzerzhinsky district, on Kosmonavtov Street, a stencil image of Hitler, swastikas and pro-fascist inscriptions appeared on the wall of a building in the courtyard of the house.
On April 24, 2009, the head of Volgograd, Roman Grebennikov, appealed to the prosecutor of the city of Volgograd and the head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate for the Volgograd Region "with a request to give a legal assessment of the facts of the emergence of propaganda of fascist ideology in the city and bring the perpetrators to criminal responsibility."
