Graves desecrated in Voronezh region

On April 19, in the village of Nizhny Karachan, Gribanovsky district, 6 graves were damaged at the city cemetery. On one, a monument was knocked down and a photograph was broken, on two wooden crosses the crossbars were torn off, and two iron ones were bent. Eyewitnesses of the incident told the investigator that on that day one of the local residents was engaged in the desecration of the burial places.

The police have identified the perpetrator. It turned out to be a non-working 23-year-old Konstantin Terekhov. He committed the act of vandalism while intoxicated.

The issue of initiating a criminal case against Konstantin Terekhov under Art. 244 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Damage and destruction of burial places").
