The editor of the Vyatka Special Newspaper was found guilty

On April 28, 2009, the Magistrate's Court of the Pervomaisky District of the Kirov Region found Nikolai Golikov , editor of the Vyatskaya Special Newspaper, guilty under Art. 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (abuse of freedom of the mass media).

The court's decision was based on the expert opinion of Alexei Kalinin, dean of the humanitarian faculty of the Kirov branch of the Moscow State Economic Institute, commissioned by the Center for Combating Extremism at the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Kirov Region.

Golikov was sentenced to a fine of four thousand rubles and confiscation of the instrument of the offense. The verdict will be appealed.
