On the night of April 26-27, 2009, once again the Dmitrov-Cherkasskoe cemetery was desecrated near Tver. 21 graves in the Jewish part of the cemetery were damaged.
Tombstones were covered with the word "EVIL", and the portraits on them were crossed out. The desecration occurred on the eve of the Orthodox holiday of commemoration of the dead, Radonitsa.
