On April 26, 2009, the III Congress of the Union of the Russian People (L. Ivashova) (SRN-I) was held in Moscow in the Oktyabrsky Palace of Culture, which was planned to be held back in November 2008. There was only one issue on the agenda - the re-election of the leadership of the RNC - the Main Council of the Union and its Chairman (let us recall that L. Ivashov has not been the chairman of the organization since November 2008, Ivan Starikov performed the duties of chairman).
According to the representatives of the RNC M. Nazarov (RNC-N, formed as a result of the split of the initially united Union), in February 2009, an attempt was made to unite the two organizations, which became possible, according to the Nazarovites, after L. Ivashov left the leadership its part of the RNC. The third congress of the RNC was planned as a unifying one and was originally scheduled for May 30, 2009. However, apparently due to disagreements in the leadership of the RNC-I, a group of the most radical activists (led by T. Mironova) initiated the congress a month earlier (the formal reason is the demand of regional organizations).
As a result, the congress not only failed to unite the two already existing groups, but also split the RNC-I in two, completely ousting Ivashov's supporters, who were focused on cooperation with the state, from the leadership. According to the characteristics of the "Ivashovites", "three independent public organizations "Union of the Russian People" have emerged with different ideological approaches ..." - the Monarchist-Orthodox Union (Nazarova), the Conservative National-State Union (Ivashova-Starikova) and the National Radical Union ( Mironov). At the same time, legally, the brand "SRN" ("The Cathedral of the Russian People", as far as one can judge, remains with the "Ivashovites".
The congress was attended by 134 (according to other sources - 173) delegates from 53 regions of Russia.
Boris Mironov was unanimously elected Chairman of the Union of the Russian People. in February 2008 under Art This means, at a minimum, the refusal of this part of the RNC (let's call it RNC-M) from attempts to officially register the organization, which was supported by a number of regional branches, since B. Mironov was convicted . 282 of the Criminal Code.
The Main Council of the RNC-M, elected at the congress, included:
Grigoriev Svyatoslav Ivanovich (at the same time - a member of the Main Council of the RNC-N),
Terekhov Igor Fedorovich (NRC, Amur region),
Mironov Boris Sergeevich,
Mironova Tatiana Leonidovna,
Malkov [possibly meaning - Andrey Sergeevich Melkov, member of the Youth Public Chamber],
Zadorozhny Pavel Filippovich (Union of Cossacks of Russia, Moscow),
Martynov Alexander Gavrilovich (Union of Cossacks of Russia, Moscow),
Korchagin Viktor Ivanovich
Fionova Ludmila Kuzminichna,
Grishin Yuri Dmitrievich ("Union of Officers", Gelenzhik),
Okhotnikov V.A. [Perhaps, this refers to Okhotnikov Vladimir Alexandrovich], (N.Novgorod),
Andreeva Tatyana (club "Russian Thought", St. Petersburg),
Spradyshev A.M. (Volgograd).
The congress delegated the right to appoint other members of the Main Council to the Chairman of the RNC B. Mironov.
Moderate supporters of the RNC-I stated that "taking this direction for granted, the organization welcomes the formation of a national-radical wing and is ready for real constructive creative work with the structure that has taken shape . "
For NRC-N supporters, however, cooperation with the neoplasm is unacceptable, because the vast majority of the latter's leadership are either radical neo-pagans or people indifferent to religious beliefs.
