On May 18, 2009, the sentence passed by the Moscow City Court on September 22, 2008 and came into force against 13 members of the Kalinichenko gang. upheld by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on May 5
Recall that the convicted were sentenced to terms ranging from 3 to 10 years in prison. Members of the group killed two people, including the international master of sports in chess from Yakutia, Sergei Nikolaev, and 9 victims were injured of varying severity.
We also recall that in February 2009, the Moscow City Court received another criminal case on two episodes , initiated against six of the 13 convicted members of the group.
