On the night of May 30, in the city of Balakhna, Nizhny Novgorod Region, unidentified persons set fire to a mosque building under construction.
The muftiate notes that the mosque has been set on fire for the second time in two months.
"For the first time this happened in the twentieth of April, but then we attributed it to hooliganism, childish pranks and did not go to the police," the spiritual administration said.
