June 2, 2009 In Ufa, the Kirovsky District Court recognized the site of the Revinform news agency as extremist, thereby satisfying the claim of the district prosecutor.

Maidan were found on the website of the news agency Revinform Materials from the socio-analytical newspaper , which were recognized as extremist by the decision of the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court of April 1, 2009. According to the senior assistant to the prosecutor of the Republic of Belarus Larisa Kuchina, they contain "calls aimed at forcibly changing the constitutional order and violating the integrity of the Russian Federation." In addition, the articles "contain statements that promote the recognition of the ideology and practice of terrorism as correct, in need of support and imitation."
