An Astrakhan mosque was fined for using sound amplification equipment during the call to prayer

The prosecutor's office of the Astrakhan region fined the head of the Astrakhan Cathedral Mosque for disturbing the peace and quiet of the city's residents: sound-amplifying equipment was used in the mosque near the Bolshiye Isady market to call Muslims to prayer at 4:00 and 23:00. The fact of exceeding the permissible noise level was confirmed by specialists of the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor.
