On May 15, in Belgorod, the Russian Orthodox Church in honor of the saints Faith, Hope, Love and Sofia suffered from a fire.
On May 29, the governor's press service announced that 380,000 rubles had been donated to the settlement account of the local diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. Of these, 7,800 rubles were contributions from individuals, the rest of the receipts were provided by business entities.
On June 9, it became known that the amount of transfers for the restoration of the church amounted to 2,383,336 rubles. The largest contributions were made by enterprises: "Efirnoe" (1 million rubles), "Transyuzhstroy" (300 thousand) and "Polysan" (200 thousand). In addition, the Kraski KVIL plant provided free paint and varnish materials, and the specialists of Tsentrogiprorud expressed their readiness to design the metal structures of the dome part free of charge.
