On June 24, it became known that the Bashneft company, at its own expense, reconstructed a mansion in Ufa and handed it over to the muftiate. The office of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic has already opened in the building.

"The development of Islam in the territory of the region, our spiritual brotherhood have deep roots - from time immemorial we have maintained and continue to strengthen friendship between all believers and peoples living in Bashkortostan," President of the Republic Murtaza Rakhimov said at the opening ceremony.

According to him, there are eight religious centers and more than a thousand associations in Bashkiria today, while the number of communities has grown from 82 to 1313 in 20 years. .
