In Bashkiria, a court decision recognizing a website as extremist has come into force

On June 25, 2009, it became known that in Ufa the decision of the Kirov District Court recognizing the website of the news agency Revinform as extremist had come into force.

Let us recall that the basis for the court's decision was that materials from the newspaper "Maidan" were found on the Revinform website, which were recognized as extremist by the decision of the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court of April 1, 2009.

Bashkir providers blocked access not only to a specific Revinform blog, but also completely blocked their users’ access to all LiveJournal blogs for a day and a half.
