Nikolay Andrushchenko will appeal the court decision

On July 3, 2009, journalist Nikolai Andrushchenko, convicted of insulting prosecutors and slander, filed a cassation appeal against the decision of the Dzerzhinsky District Court in St. Petersburg.

He justified his decision by the fact that he considers himself innocent and intends to seek consideration in the future of his complaint in the Strasbourg Court of Human Rights.
