In St. Petersburg, charges were brought under Article 282 for distributing the book “The System of Islam”

On July 10, it became known that the investigative department of the RF Investigative Committee for St. Petersburg charged a citizen of Tajikistan with distributing the book "The System of Islam" by Takiuddin Nabkhani.

The book, according to the SU UPC, contains "ideas, views of an extremist and terrorist orientation, contrary to the norms of international law, the Constitution and legislation of the Russian Federation."

The charge was brought under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred and enmity).

Currently, work is underway to verify the available information about other facts of distribution of extremist literature by the accused.
