Believers of St. Petersburg sent a protest to the city administration in connection with the upcoming visit of Madonna

A group of believers from St. Petersburg sent a protest to the city administration (Governor Valentina Matvienko and Chairman of the Committee on Culture Anton Gubankov) in connection with the forthcoming Madonna show on Palace Square on August 2.

The letter, in particular, says that "Palace Square is a national shrine" and the planned concert of the singer, who declared her adherence to Kabbalism, "will become a desecration of the Christian symbol."

More than 50 people signed the appeal.
