The trial of the coordinator of DPNI-Kursk has begun

On July 15, 2009, in the Leninsky District Court of Kursk, a preliminary hearing was held in the case against Sofya Budnikova, the Kursk coordinator of the "Movement Against Illegal Immigration" (DPNI), charged under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Let us recall that in September-October 2008, Budnikova prepared the text of the leaflet "Russia on Blood", organized and financed its reproduction. Leaflets were pasted at bus stops and residential buildings in the center of Kursk.

The next trial will take place on June 25, 2009, where the first testimony in the case will be heard.

On December 17, 2009, the Leninsky District Court of Kursk sentenced Budnikova to 1 year of probation with a probationary period of 1 year.
