The trial in the case of Irek Murtazin has begun

On July 20, 2009, the Kirovsky District Court of Kazan began preliminary hearings in the case of the former press secretary of the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev Irek Murtazin.

Murtazin is accused under Part 2 of Article 129 (libel), Part 1 of Article 137 (violation of privacy), paragraph “a” of Part 2, Article 282 (inciting social hatred with the threat of violence, using the media ) Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Let us remind you that the former press secretary categorically disagrees with the charges brought against him.
