On July 21, a conflict broke out between the priests and parishioners of ROCOR(V) and the ROC in Primorsky Krai, Portal-Credo.ru reports .

Parishioners and priests of the Vladivostok diocese of ROCOR(V) arrived at the former Shmakovo Monastery, where they annually make a pilgrimage. The pilgrims began to prepare for the liturgy. At this time, a UAZ car stopped not far from them, from which five people in cassocks got out.

Three of them approached the bishop and said: "Pack up immediately and leave in a good way, you will not serve here." When asked by the bishop what the “ban” was based on, one of the young clergymen introduced himself as the abbot of a nearby monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church. As a result of the bishop's attempts to challenge this "instruction" or at least get it in writing, a conflict occurred.

Despite the attackers' threats to call for reinforcements, the bishop began the liturgy. For forty minutes, the abbot of the Russian Orthodox Church continued to shout insults and call on his mobile phone, after which the attackers left.
