A girl suspected of xenophobic propaganda was detained in St. Petersburg
On August 12, 2009, a 17-year-old resident of St. Petersburg was detained in the Gatchina district of the Leningrad region, suspected of racist propaganda.
The criminal case was initiated under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity). The investigation suspects the girl that in July 2009 she posted materials on the Internet that called for the physical destruction of Africans. During searches in the apartment of the detainee, materials of a nationalist nature were found.
The detainee was released on bail.
