In August 2009, in one of the crews of the Baltic Fleet stationed in the Kaliningrad region, sailors Vitaly Shah, Gadzhibakhmud Kurbanov, Arag Eminov, Sirazhutdin Cheriev, Naib Taigibov, Islam Khamurzov, Jamal Temirbulatov forced 26 of their colleagues to lie on the ground so that from their bodies the word "Kavkaz" came out. The incident was captured on a mobile phone camera.
Before that, they brutally beat one of the servicemen.
They also forced conscripts to dance Lezginka and took away their money and personal belongings.
A criminal case was opened. On July 12, the Baltic Garrison Military Courtsentenced them.
