Racist attack in Volgograd

In August 2009, a racist attack was committed on two men in Volgograd (Volgograd region).

The attack was accompanied by xenophobic slogans: "Russia for the Russians!", "Volga for the Volga!" etc. The cause of the conflict was the nationality of the victims.

In April 2010, the court issued a guilty verdict against the attackers: Roman Demidenko and Mikhail Fedorenko.
