On August 31, 2009, an Armenian citizen was killed near house 1 on Nakhimov Street in St. Petersburg.
On the body of the deceased, there are several stab wounds in the torso and one in the throat.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
We remind you that on August 31, 2009, the St. Petersburg City Court sentenced Vladimir Sosnikhin, who was charged with the murder of student Denis Edzauskis, and the attacks (see also the murder of a Tajik citizen) could well have been a reaction.
On November 28, 2009, a certain Radical Organization of Northern Russia (ROSR) claimed responsibility for the murder.
