On September 3, 2009, the office of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights (MBHR) received an e-mail with threats from radical nationalists.
The letter, signed by Aleksey Bogdanovich, "says in an extremely rude form that 'the time will come' and the members of the bureau will have to 'shut up their mouths and give a fascist greeting'" .
The director of the bureau announced his intention to apply to the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and seek an investigation into this fact.
