The family of pastor Alexey Perov filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights

On August 26, 2009, the family of the pastor of the Church "Commonwealth of Christ" Alexei Perov, whose son David Perov was beaten at a school in the village of Gribanovsky, Voronezh region, after holding an Orthodox prayer service, filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

Let us recall that on February 26, 2009, the Voronezh Regional Court considered the cassation appeal against the decision of the Gribanovsky District Court and left it unchanged .

The applicants ask to recognize that they were subjected to a violation of Art. 9 of the Convention (Freedom of thought, conscience and religion) and Article 2 of Protocol 1 of the Convention (Right to education).

The interests of the Perov family in the Strasbourg court are represented by lawyer Roman Maranov.
