Court decision to recognize extremist anti-Krishna leaflet overturned

On September 24, 2009, it became known that the Judicial Collegium for Civil Cases of the Khabarovsk Regional Court overturned the decision of the Central District Court of Khabarovsk of January 29 to recognize the leaflet "Beware of the sect! "International Society for Krishna Consciousness" as extremist material. The leaflet was included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials (n. 413).

Let us recall that a criminal case was initiated in November 2008 under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or hostility) on the fact of distribution of anti-Krishna leaflets in July 2008 during the festival of Indian culture. Earlier representatives of MGER tried to challenge this decision , but failed.
