The case against the police officers of Center "E" in Tyumen

On September 21, 2009, the human rights association "Agora" became aware that the SO SUSKP of the Russian Federation for the Kalinin administrative district of Tyumen was investigating a criminal case under paragraph "a" part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of power with the use of violence) in relation to employees of the center for combating extremism, who were previously involved in the case of anarchists , who were accused of putting anti-war graffiti on the walls of military registration and enlistment offices.

A criminal case against police officers was initiated on the basis of a statement from one of the Tyumen anarchists, Amiran Butaev, who reported that he was intimidated and beaten, demanding to testify against his acquaintances Andrei Kutuzov and Rustam Fakhretdinov.

According to Butaev, “One of them took scissors and offered to cut my finger, later my ear and put scissors on it. relatives, fired from work, and also expelled my friend from the university if I did not testify against Rustam and Andrey. At the slightest disagreement with their proposals, they promised to dip into the toilet, put them in criminals, rape .

Recall that at the end of August 2009, the case of ideologically motivated vandalism was dismissed.
