The case of Damir Shaikhutdinov has been brought to court

On October 21, 2009, the investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan announced the transfer to the court of a criminal case under paragraph "b" part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity, committed using the media, by a person using his official position) against the editor of the newspaper "Chally Yashlere" (Chelnin Youth) Damir Shaikhutdinov.

According to investigators, Shaifutdinov posted in his newspaper articles "expressing thoughts, ideas and views that undermine trust and respect for persons of Russian nationality and the Orthodox religion, causing hostility, hatred and enmity towards the way of life, traditions of citizens of Russian nationality and the Orthodox religion" .

Recall that this is the second criminal case against Shaikhutdinov under the same article.
