Anti-fascist rally in Ulan-Ude
On November 1, in Ulan-Ude (Republic of Buryatia), an anti-fascist rally was held in memory of Bair Sambuev, a resident of Buryatia , killed in Moscow.
The rally was attended by several hundred residents of Ulan-Ude, social activists, representatives of the parties "Yabloko", "United Russia", the Communist Party and the Liberal Democratic Party. The participants of the rally stood under the banners "Buryatia against Nazism in Russia", "If not us, then who else. No to murderers for the color of the skin", "Fascism will not pass into the Buryat people", "We do not put silent candles if we are thrown into the furnace " .
On the screen above the heads of the participants were shown photographs from the family archive of Bair Sambuev and photographs of skinheads who threw up their hands in greeting. As a sign of mourning, black balloons were released into the air.
The rally participants sent resolutions to the federal and republican authorities demanding that those responsible for deliberately falsely classifying racist attacks as domestic attacks be brought to justice.
