In St. Petersburg, the prosecutor's office through the court ordered a Protestant school to obtain a license

The Vyborgsky District Court of St. Petersburg satisfied the claim of the prosecutor's office against the non-state educational institution "School of secondary general education" Christian mission "Good News" and ordered the educational institution to obtain a license for educational activities. The school administration was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 19.20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (carrying out activities not related to making a profit without special permission).

The prosecutor's office revealed a violation of the federal law "On Education" in the course of checking charters and local acts in non-state educational institutions. Recall that in the course of the same check, violations were revealed in the activities of the Jewish school-garden "Menachem" .

It is possible that in this case the prosecutor's request was justified.
