The administration of the Pskov region is checking the legality of construction in the security zone of the Mirozhsky Monastery

On November 16, it became known that the State Legal Committee of the Administration of the Pskov Region was checking the legality of construction work in the protected zone of the Mirozhsky Monastery.

Construction is carried out by an individual entrepreneur. According to available information, the cafe is being built for the needs of visitors to the city beach, which was decided to be moved from the monastery to another place.

The head of the Pskov regional branch of the VOOPiK said that he had filed a request to suspend construction until the end of the proceedings.

On November 24 , it became known that the Pskov administration had withdrawn the building permit on November 6. Construction has been suspended until the violations are corrected.
