Anti-fascist killed in Moscow

On November 16, 2009, at about 21:00 in Moscow, one of the informal leaders of the youth anti-fascist movement, 26-year-old Ivan Khutorskoy, was shot dead at the entrance of his own house on Khabarovskaya Street.

In 2005, the deceased was attacked twice. His address and name have repeatedly appeared on the websites of right-wing radicals in the "hit lists". Comrades of the deceased believe that the murder was committed by neo-Nazis.

Recently, Ivan has been guarding concerts of anti-fascist groups, and has also been one of the organizers of mixed-fight tournaments among anti-fascists.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). Urgent investigations are underway. Various motives for the murder are considered, including those related to the anti-fascist activities of the victim.

Recall that earlier anti-fascists were killed in Moscow: in April 2006 - Alexander Ryukhin , in March 2008 - Alexei Krylov , in October 2008 - Fedor Filatov , in June 2009 - Ilya Dzhaparidze .

On November 16, 2009, the "Combat Organization of Russian Nationalists" (BORN) circulated the information that it claims responsibility for this murder.
