An Orthodox priest was beaten in Moscow

On December 5, 2009, an attack was made in Moscow on Priest Vitaly Zubkov, the second cleric of the Church of the Apostle Thomas on Kantemirovskaya.

At about 4:00 pm, three unknown persons severely beat V. Zubkov. The reasons for the attack are unknown. The priest received bruises on his legs and head.

Law enforcement authorities qualified the incident as domestic hooliganism.
