In Omsk, the court found the books of the leader of the Russian-Slavic National Union extremist

On December 8, 2009, the Pervomaisky District Court of the city of Omsk satisfied the application of the prosecutor of the Omsk region and ruled that two books by the leader of the local "Russian-Slavic National Union" Valery Demin "From the Aryans to the Russians" and "From the Russians to the Russians" were recognized as extremist (Moscow, 2005).

The books were found during an inspection by the UFSB and the prosecutor's office in the Zhivye Mysli bookstore.

According to the conclusion of a linguistic and psychological examination carried out by specialists from the Omsk State University, the texts of the books "have negative emotional assessments that degrade the dignity of representatives of the Jewish nationality" . The author uses "lexical and derivational means that negatively characterize ethnic, religious and social groups" . Alexander Sukhonosov, the prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of the Enforcement of Federal Security Laws on Combating Extremism, said that "the author used such phrases and phrases that ... could induce actions of a destructive, negative, illegal nature . " Thus, the books contain signs of inciting national hatred, "which are actions aimed at carrying out extremist activities . "

In this regard, the prosecutor of the Omsk region filed a claim with the court for the recognition of extremist books "From the Aryans to the Russians", "From the Russians to the Russians." The court satisfied the demands of the prosecutor in full and decided to confiscate the circulation.

The decision of the court did not enter into force.

Recall that in the spring of 2009 a criminal case was initiated against Valery Demin under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity).
