In Altai, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan was brought to administrative responsibility for distributing extremist materials
On December 8, it became known that the world court of the Rubtsovsky district of the Altai Territory brought a citizen of Kyrgyzstan to administrative responsibility for the mass distribution and storage of extremist materials.
In August 2009, the aforementioned citizen arrived in Russia to preach among Muslims in the Irkutsk and Chita regions, as well as in Buryatia.
In his sermons, he read, in particular, the article "The Values of Tabligh" by Muhammad Zakaria Kandehlavi, which is included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials and is prohibited from distribution in Russia.
Subsequently, at the Altai customs, during the customs control, extremist literature was found and confiscated from him.
Given that the man fully admitted his guilt, the court sentenced him to a fine of 1.5 thousand rubles.
