On December 8, 2009, it became known that the prosecutor's office of the city of Urai (Yugra), based on the results of an audit, submitted a proposal to the head of the municipal institution "Education Department of the city of Urai" to eliminate violations of the law and bring guilty officials to disciplinary responsibility.
During the audit, it was found that in most educational institutions of the city there are computer classes with Internet access. However, access filter programs designed to block extremist and terrorist sites that are prohibited for use by students do not correspond to these goals. When checking the filtering system, links were obtained to the sites of "extremist organizations whose activities are currently prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation" .
In our opinion, the claims of the prosecutor's office are not entirely justified, since the access filters that did not cope with the task were provided by the Federal Agency for Education, and school principals could simply not be aware of the non-functionality of this software or be unable to correct its shortcomings.
in a similar situation . Recall that earlier the Butyrskaya inter-district prosecutor's office in Moscow issued warnings to directors of five city schools
