The case of a Nazi skinhead attack on an ecological camp was returned to the prosecutor's office again

On December 14, 2009, the Angarsk City Court began considering a criminal case on an attack on an environmental camp near Angarsk, which resulted in the death of anti-fascist Ilya Borodaenko. The case was again returned from the court to the prosecutor's office.

At the start of the trial, lawyers and juvenile judge Tatyana Vorotnikova discovered that only two of the 20 defendants remained in the new indictment submitted by the prosecutor's office. The state prosecutor stated that, despite the apparent inconsistency of the new text with the one that 20 defendants were familiar with earlier, the prosecutor's office sees no obstacles to considering this case on the merits. The judge did not agree with the prosecutor's position and stated that the conclusion did not meet the requirements of the law, and therefore, from a legal point of view, could not be considered handed over to the defendant.

Let us recall that for the first time Judge Vorotnikova returned the case for additional investigation on June 16, 2009, as she saw a violation of the right to defense of the two defendants, committed at the preliminary investigation stage.
