A criminal case has been opened in the Kursk region under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

On December 15, 2009, it became known that the Investigative Bodies of the RF Investigative Committee for the Kursk Region initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred or enmity).

According to the investigation, on the night of September 25-26, 2009, unidentified persons distributed leaflets with the heading "Spartak death of the Rylsky district", which, according to a linguistic study, contained statements aimed at inciting hatred and enmity on the grounds of gender, race and nationality . Leaflets were distributed on the eve of the elections for the post of head of the Rylsky district of the Kursk region.

A complex of investigative and operational measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances is being carried out. There is an investigation.
