The case of Sergei Maslennikov was returned to the prosecutor's office

In July 2009, the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Bashkortostan brought to court the case of Sergei Maslennikov (born 1968), accused of inciting hatred (part 1 of article 282) and public insult (part 2 of article 130) for being published on website "UfaGub" several hundred xenophobic and offensive comments.

The case was accepted for consideration by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Ufa, which began its consideration in August 2009.

After several months of proceedings, on December 14, 2009, the court decided to return the case to the prosecutor's office.
