In the Krasnodar Territory, the Kropotkinsky Interdistrict Investigation Department completed a preliminary investigation of a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (humiliation of human dignity on the grounds of nationality) in relation to a 29-year-old resident of art. Caucasian. On 11 December 2009 the case with the approved indictment was sent to the Kavkazskiy District Court for consideration on the merits.

According to investigators, the defendant wrote on the wall of the Uyut store building words that "contained a negative assessment in relation to all representatives of the Armenian people . " The inscription "degrading national dignity" was available for viewing "to a large circle of people living in the village of Kavkazskaya" .

The accused is under bail.
