Suspects detained in the murder of I. Bostanov

In mid-December, three suspects were detained in the murder of the deputy chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Karachay-Cherkessia and Stavropol Ismail Bostanov: the head of the Nizhne-Teberda rural municipality and two unemployed residents of Karachay-Cherkessia, 23 and 27 years old.

A machine gun was seized from one of the detainees. “Operatives are checking the involvement of the detainees in the activities of illegal armed groups,” said Fatima Kardanova, head of the information and public relations department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

On December 27, another suspect was detained at the Mineralnye Vody airport - the imam of the Kislovodsk mosque.
