Attack on visitors to a Nizhny Novgorod cafe

On January 26, 2010, in Nizhny Novgorod, a group of three neo-Nazis attacked visitors to the Stopka bar. During the conflict, one of the attackers used a knife.

The incident became known from a court verdict handed down to two participants in this attack on May 24, 2010. The court found that the crime was motivated by the neo-Nazi views of the attackers. (The victims were mistaken for Jews and anti-fascists, and this was the reason for the attack).

At least 4 people are known to have been injured in the incident.
